Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

It’s never frowned upon to start early, but you could be too late to order something new. Moms should start shopping about seven months prior to the wedding, with a decision begin formulated no later than five months prior. We do sell right out of our inventory for moms, so fear not if you are later than that. However, keep in mind that in-stock colors may not always be in line with the bride’s vision, so give yourself enough time in case we need to order a dress in another color.

Our philosophy carries over into all our collections, so you will always see our plus-size racks stocked with beautiful and diverse pieces.

We have a lovely array of pantsuits available for moms and grandmothers.

We suggest two guests plus yourself — three total. A smaller group keeps the day joyful and focused; too many opinions can make a wonderful moment feel overwhelming. Bring the people whose input means the most, and let your stylist handle the rest!

As with our lovely brides, we want to complete the circle and make sure you are looking and feeling fabulous before you leave our salon. We do offer on-site alterations for all special occasion attire as well.

We will never try to compete with department stores, as we consider our experience a great step up from what you’ll receive at the local mall. Our items range in price from $450 to $4000. The majority of our collection retails for between $650-$950, but we do have some very special pieces that are absolute gems you won’t find at other salons.

We can accommodate walk-ins during the week; however, we highly recommend that you book an appointment so we can provide you with a dedicated stylist, undivided attention, and an experience that feels calm rather than rushed. We understand that this is likely your first time doing any of this, and we want it to feel exciting and relaxing.

Yes! As we’ve grown, we’ve expanded our collections to include one-of-a-kind pieces you can treasure as an event guest. New looks arrive all year round, so if you have an upcoming occasion, come visit us for something unique.

We don’t carry bridesmaid collections in-store, but we’re always happy to chat colors, coordinate palettes, and help you pull the whole bridal-party look together. Bring us your ideas and we’ll be your sounding board.

Our stylists guide you to a shade that complements the bride or groom’s style and the overall wedding theme — coordinating with the bridal party without matching the bridesmaids or competing with the bride. Bring the wedding colors (or a swatch) and we’ll help you land on a look that photographs beautifully alongside the whole family.

Absolutely! Our Salem NH location has a tuxedo department that provides tuxedos and suits for rent or purchase. You can score some savings when a party of 6 or more is registered with our tuxedo department. When this happens, the partner’s tux is free and the additional party members will receive a discount as well!
