The old saying really does apply here: you can never be too early, but you can absolutely be too late. Bridal gowns aren’t typically hanging on a rack waiting to come home with you — once we choose your style, size and color together, we place the order with the designer, and your gown takes its place in line behind every order ahead of it. Our recommended sweet spot? Start browsing about a year before your wedding and aim to have your “yes!” by the nine-month mark. That gives us plenty of breathing room for the dress, alterations, and all the lovely details in between!

Our bridal appointments are 2-hours long to give you plenty of time to shop our extensive collection and say “Yes!” to the dress.

Don’t panic — we have plenty of tricks up our sleeve. Many of our designers offer rush programs (small fees apply), and several styles are available with quicker in-stock delivery. If your date is just around the corner, we’ll always offer you a gown right off our racks, often at a beautiful discount if it’s been with us for more than a season. Short timeline, big dreams — we’ve got you either way!

Bring your mom, your besties, or your whole hype squad, but we suggest no more than 5 guests (including yourself) per appointment. During slower times (like weekdays), we can be more accommodating. For parties larger than 5, please book the proper appointment so our team can prepare for your entourage.

Our curvy bride collection grows every season, and we’ve become a destination boutique for stunning brides from all over New England. No two bodies are the same, and we can customize your dress to fit you uniquely.

Our gowns range from $1,500 to $5,000, with the average bride landing right around $2,100. Looking for something a little more budget-friendly? Give us a call or send an email — we often have off-the-rack inventory at terrific prices, and we love playing matchmaker between brides and unexpected steals.

We can accommodate walk-ins during the week; however, we ask that you book an appointment so we can give you what you deserve: a dedicated stylist, undivided attention, and an experience that feels calm rather than rushed. This is likely your first time doing any of this, and we want it to feel exciting and relaxing, never overwhelming. Trust us, the appointment is part of the magic.

We do, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Bella Sera is, and will always be, a full-service boutique — meaning we walk with you from the first try-on to the final stitch. Our expert seamstresses are true experts, and our alterations department has earned multiple Best of the North Shore awards. Your gown will fit you perfectly, because that’s the whole point of finding it here.

Yes, at least once a year. Sample gowns are offered at wonderfully reduced prices, and our stylists love this kind of treasure hunt. If you’re hoping to find an absolute steal, this is the moment. Stay in the loop by following us on social media!
